About Me
I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Colorado and completed licensure requirements in 2017. I have been providing therapeutic and psychological assessment services for eight years, with a myriad of experiences ranging from work in inpatient, residential and outpatient settings. I have provided individual, couples, family and group therapies to individuals across the lifespan. The majority of my graduate experience was with adults with severe and persistent mental illness, grief & loss (loss of personal health, bereavement, loss of significant relationships) and histories or ongoing complex trauma/ abuse. Subsequently, my clinical work has focused on trauma based therapies and evidenced based therapies provided to teens and adults.
I am certified in multiple evidence-based trauma therapies to include: cognitive processing therapy, which is often used for single incident trauma/abuse and skills training for interpersonal and affective regulation, utilized for chronic, long-standing trauma/abuse. With respect to grief and loss, I utilize a relational constructivist approach. Additionally, I am well-versed and trained in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy(CBT) and trauma-focused therapy. I am more than happy to share my approaches to therapy to see if my perspective is a good fit for you and your goals!
